The application presents a straightforward and user-friendly interface for tuning Carnatic instruments. Users begin by selecting the tonic pitch utilizing the designated buttons on the screen. As one plays, the app effectively identifies the swara being performed and indicates the accuracy of the tuning. A graphical bar above the note provides a visual representation of the tuning accuracy; a green bar indicates proficiency in tuning, while a red bar signifies that adjustments are needed. It is advisable to maintain a low volume on any accompanying shruti box or tambura to ensure optimal tuning results.
